If you have paint left after this project, you can explore using it on paper, wood, glass, stones, and other surfaces. Commonly used by adults as well for painting wooden toys, scrap booking and crafts. Note that they are washable (unless sealed).

Why use hemp?
Hemp creates one of the most eco-friendly fabrics in the world. Hemp requires no pesticides, crowds out weeds without herbicides, controls erosion of the topsoil, and produces oxygen. Although they are non-toxic, our paints are not intended for consumption. However, our Natural Egg Dye Kits are FDA approved for use in food!
Are your products free of nuts, dairy, and gluten for people with allergies?
All of our products are free of gluten and dairy. Our only product containing nuts is our Refined Walnut Oil, but it is not processed in our facility.
Are your products cruelty-free?
Absolutely! None of our products are ever tested on animals.
Are your paints vegan (not derived from animals)?
yes all our paints are vegan with the exception of our Natural Face Paintwhich contains beeswax.
Have these products been tested for health safety?
Yes, all of the paints, pigments, and supplies have been tested by government certified toxicologists and are also third party tested. They are certified completely non-toxic.
Is it toxic to breathe the dust before mixing it into paint?
It’s not healthy to breathe any type of dust into your lungs, even if it is non-toxic and natural (like our pigments), or even dust from a dirt road! When mixing your paint, use caution to avoid creating clouds of dust. If you gently scoop the pigment and carefully mix it with water, no dust should be created. Some people who are extra sensitive or concerned about dust can wear a certified mask for greater protection.
Do your paints wash off skin, furniture, clothes, etc.?
Our paints wash off of skin very easily—for extra help cleaning up the hands and body, especially when using oil paints, our Pinerite is the perfect all-natural solution. Our paints also wash off of hard surfaces, but they may stain clothing, carpet, or fabric.
What is your packaging made from?
We use 100% post-consumer recycled packaging, home-compostable pigment pouches, and recyclable glass and aluminum bottles for our products.

I recently bought a kit to make my own gesso, and before that, I had purchased pigments and other supplies to make watercolor and acrylic paints.
What I like about these products is that they are environmentally friendly (which is greatly needed), good for the health of the people who use them, and the painting process is slow, involving a lot of back and forth and pauses, in order to respect what wants to appear on the paper and also to appreciate the experience and the magic of beauty itself.
I sent away for a sampler of pigments, gum arabic, and acrylik binder. Despite the risks of winter, my parcel arrived safe and sound, and very quickly. The store was very careful about handling my order.
I've been playing with the paint all week and haven't had such fun in ages! I made my mixes according to the recipes at the Natural Earth website. Colours are vivid and beautiful, and great to work with. Very impressed! Thank you!
I am going to make watercolour paints, 20 colours and I've just now emptied each little bag (X2) into cute little jars so I can see how much I have. Let me tell you these colours are highly pigmented and I haven't even made the paint yet. I'm very excited to do that soon ...thank you Natural Earth Paint, I'm so happy I found you.
