Giving Back

At Natural Earth Paint Canada, we strive to be a truly eco-conscious business that doesn't simply use the Earth's precious resources but also gives back and replenishes her. Most our products are processed at a 100% solar powered facility. The others are made by other small local businesses in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

We use only compostable, recycled, biodegradable and locally made packaging (that were made in a wind-Powered facility) and buy our pigments and natural ingredients from small, family owned businesses that harvest sustainably, we also give back in different ways. Here are a few:

Nature Conservancy Canada

We are proud to support Nature Conservancy Canada, a national land conservation organization, on a monthly basis.

They protect Canada’s natural areas that sustain plant and animal life by setting priorities, developing strategies, and taking action.

Natural Earth Paint Canada is committed to contributing to this cause, among others, for a better, more sustainable future.

Art For Aid Project

We are happy to be able to support the Art For Aid Project by I Love First Peoples. The mission of the project is to connect First Nations, Inuit and Metis Indigenous youth to art and knowledge of their cultures.

They do this by making sure high quality art supplies, programs, and resources are available to them. Colleen from Art For Aid Project is a Governor General of Canada award winner, and we admire the work she does for Indigenous youth.

At Natural Earth Paint Canada, we feel that art supplies really inspire kids and would love to see growth and knowledge in Indigenous Art.

Rogue River Keeper

Monthly Donations to Southern Oregon's River and Watershed Protector. They succeeded in stopping the LNG pipeline from cutting through Oregon.

For the past decade, Rogue Riverkeeper has been working to protect, defend, and restore clean water, native fish, and healthy communities in the Rogue River Basin.

Plant A Tree Campaign

In honor of Earth Day 2013, we launched a campaign to plant 400 native tree seedlings each year to off-set any energy we may use in the making of our products.

We accomplished this from 2013-2015 and had a wonderful, community building time in the process. We focused on heavily logged areas and riparian areas that needed to be restored.

A Million Choices Project

Project promotes and encourages the development of the arts to underprivileged children in developing countries. It's about providing hope and a creative outlet to children who are constantly surrounded by poverty, threat of human trafficking, and fear.

Here are children making Earth Paint play dough and Earth Painted masks in Villa Gonzalez, the Dominican Republic.

PSARTS

PSARTS provides arts education to underserved public schools and communities in California. It provides yearlong arts education in dance, music, theater, and visual arts to every child in a school during the regular school day.

Without PSART's programs, children in these underfunded school districts would not have any access to the arts. We donate paints to their fundraisers.

Green America

We donate to Green America every year for the amazing work they do as a non profit creating a socially just and environmentally sustainable society.

Check out their website for an unbelievable list of the amazing accomplishments and changes they've facilitated over the years.
