The paints are a gift to a Lakota man who will be using them for ceremony - so the paints are needed to come from the earth in as pure a form as possible. from another source I bought bear grease for him to mix with the paint - - - I am hopeful that the two will work well together.

Quality safe paint
This is the best way to teach children that wonderful things take time and patience. They can see how each drop of paint is mixed to their desirable intensity and not something that’s squeezed out of a bottle. We would like the green paint a bit darker though.

Excellent consistency
This is fun to do with kids - they enjoyed adding water and mixing to get the right consistency. The paint has a nice creamy consistency, like tempera or acrylic craft paints. I used them on brown cardboard letters, and the paint covered the brown well. The only disappointment was that the red was more of a rust color, even though the sticker seemed to indicate a true red.
Worked really well for my daughters cat-tortoise costume, the coverage is pretty decent, so you don't actually have to use that much

A dream set for painting a fall landscape. Mixes and feels like a heavy body liquitex or golden acrylic. Smooth & buttery texture. Blends well, saturated, covers well, easy cleanup with water. Some beautiful earth pigments.
These paints are sensitive to cool/cold temperatures. Lots of warnings on the website. My kit did sit 24 hours in an outside mail box 10C … (my fault, there are delivery notifications). It made the purple quite thick, but with a little water & a palette knife it is quite lovely.
Highly recommend you try these natural acrylik paints. If you’re getting this set, I’d recommend getting an extra white. 😁

My first time using these natural powder paints, a little bit messy but easy to clean up! I accidentally added too much water to a few but it was still a nice colour pay off, more like a water colour. The paint was easy to use and the wooden eggs are a great sustainable option, that you can keep forever! I would recommend, great for kids
